Location: New Jersey – Travel to Multiple Job Sites Required
Company: Fritz Staffing Group

About Us

We’re not your average electrical contractor. Fritz Staffing Group is a nationally recognized leader in large-scale commercial and industrial electrical construction. From high-tech distribution centers to cutting-edge manufacturing plants, we power the infrastructure that keeps the economy moving.

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to take the reins on our New Jersey projects. If you know how to lead with confidence, hit deadlines, and coach a team while still rolling up your sleeves when needed — this is your kind of crew.

Position Overview

As a Foreman, you’ll be responsible for supervising 5+ electricians on active job sites. You’ll coordinate daily tasks, ensure all work is code-compliant and completed safely, and act as the on-site point of contact for project managers and clients. This is a leadership role for someone who knows how to balance hands-on work with high-level oversight.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Direct and oversee daily work for a crew of 5 or more electricians
  • Plan, coordinate, and delegate tasks to ensure project milestones are met
  • Interpret and implement blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specs
  • Ensure all work meets NEC code and company quality standards
  • Maintain accurate reports, materials logs, and timesheets
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical guidance to the crew
  • Serve as the on-site liaison for GC, inspectors, and internal stakeholders
  • Enforce all safety regulations and conduct daily toolbox talks

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or foreman role
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and site safety practices
  • Proven ability to lead crews and hold team members accountable
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and one-lines
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Journeyman license is preferred, but not required
  • OSHA 30 certification is highly preferred (or willingness to obtain)

What We Offer

  • Competitive weekly pay (DOE)
  • Steady work on major projects across New Jersey
  • Paid time off, health benefits, and 401(k) options
  • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (for qualified candidates)
  • Supportive, boots-on-the-ground leadership team
  • Advancement opportunities with a growing national contractor
