Hardhat is hiring a Mechanical Commissioning Technician, for a project in Brookshire, Texas

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of mechanical systems that support the facility's infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring initial reliability and performance across HVAC systems, hydronic systems, air handling units, compressed air systems, and other critical infrastructure.

The technician will also support preventative maintenance efforts, troubleshoot systems using BMS platforms, and contribute to general facility upkeep. Candidates must be hands-on, able to perform tasks across multiple trades when needed.

What You’ll Do

· Support the commissioning, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair mechanical systems including HVAC, chillers, hydronic loops, VAVs, compressors, dryers, and exhaust systems

· Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on mechanical, control, and infrastructure systems. Such as oil changes, motor alignment, etc.

· Hands on experience to Install, repair, and modify ductwork, piping, exhaust equipment, and HVAC components during the commissioning phase.
