End Shear Operators

Immediate need for:

End Shear Operator

Set up and operate rocking type end shear to cut steel plates to specifications determined by customers

Visually inspect machinery and associated systems for safe and proper operational capability

Inspect all controls and switches

Calibrate all applicable equipment

Verify plate identity via roll sequence list to determine plate length

Operate table to bring plates to shear block and position for shearing

Operate delivery table to position plate at transfer table

Utilize scrap conveyor as necessary

Assist in clearing of scrap jams

Direct and assist in adjustment and changing of knives

Examine quality of cut edges of plates periodically

Monitor housekeeping in vicinity of machinery

Inspect scrap bucket intermittently

Understand applicable (QSOP)-Quality Standard Operating Procedure

Job Locations: Baytown, TX

Starts: 2/20/2021

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Per Diem: $65/day

Travel: $150 in/out

Duration: 3 weeks

Must pass background and drug test
