Job Description

The Lead Field coordinator is to remove barriers and provide Safety guidance and job knowledge.


• Monitor the job from “Start to Completion” and be visible and available to the Contractor.

• Review Schedule problems with Contractor.

• Check job for completeness per scope of work and initiate punch lists of items not complete near the end of the job.

• Determining when this material will be received in the storeroom so work can be scheduled in the future.

• Determining any other material required such as drawings, special tools, procedures, vendor manuals, or reliability test forms also to be included in the job package.

• Participate in the management of the work order backlog by reviewing backlog and planning lists to identify, eliminate and redefine duplicates orders.

• Provide updates on planning status and planning backlog when required.


• Identify the required skill crafts and duration of the job, develop the most logical sequence of steps in work execution. It is important for the Planner to understand and communicate to Operations what is needed for effective and efficient job execution.

Requirements: Significant and increasing responsibility experience in Electrical


Working knowledge of the Maintenance Workflow Process or a similar maintenance management program.


Demonstrate basic understanding of planning and scheduling fundamentals.


Knowledge of safety hazards, regulations, company standards, and appropriate precautions applicable to work assignments.


Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment in the maintenance of a nuclear facility.
