Job Description

The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next Shop Foreman. We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. Shop Foreman Responsibilities:

  • Have a safety mindset to ensure employees work safely.
  • Have a good understanding of inspection procedures, techniques, and equipment to control nonconformities of product.
  • Work directly to train introductory personnel to excel at their craft.
  • Coordinate with other areas in the shop to produce quality products with on-time deliveries.

Shop Foreman Skills:

  • Must be able to read and understand various drawings (structural, pipe, plate components).
  • Must be able to multi-task – oversee multiple projects at one time.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with the shop employees to assure that the shop runs as efficiently as possible.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in a fabrication shop is required
  • OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
  • Must be able to weld and pass qualification test coupons during the pre-employment test
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
