Mechanic Helpers Needed in Surry, VA

Day & Zimmermann has openings for experienced Mechanic Helpers at Surry Nuclear Power Plant in Surry, Virginia for Spring Outage work starting in April.

Job Description/Duties:

• Assist with valves in and out of mechanic shop.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
• Safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
• Climb and work from ladders and scaffolding.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

• Valve experience and/or completion of a valve class.
• Pass a nuclear background check and drug screening.
• High School Diploma or GED.
