Job Description

Location: Gallatin, KY

Pay Rate: Up to $32/Hour + $120 Per Diem

Hours: 60 Hours/ Week; Work thru May

The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next Quality Control teammate.  We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. QC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Visual inspection of welds (Root and Final)
  • Documentation of a weld log (Excel Spreadsheet)
  • Weld mapping
  • Updating information in the shareware network site

REQUIREMENTS:

  • CWI is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
  • Minimum of two years experience in quality control or a similar discipline.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
