Maintenance Planner (Refinery)

Summary

Per Sé Group has an immediate need for a Maintenance Planner to support our client’s refinery in Ohio in a one-year+ contract assignment. This refinery produces low-sulphur gasoline, gasoline blend stocks, ultra-low sulphur diesel, jet fuel, petrochemical feedstock, and other byproducts.  Our client’s downstream operations include upgrading, refining, and marketing operations in Canada and the United States.  In this role you will be responsible for completing job plans across multiple units within the refinery.  You will have oversight of estimating and purchasing for work requests including equipment, materials, and labor. A strong background in oil & gas refineries and significant experience with planning and knowledge of SAP is required.  Pay range: $70-$74/hr + $142/day per diem. 

Responsibilities

·       Develop plans for corrective and preventative maintenance work including planning scheduling and cost control

·       Ensure work plans follow all safety policies, procedures and practices

·       Maintain all records and documentation that are essential to the department and operations

·       Assist the scheduling team in order to achieve efficiencies and management

·       Coordinate all work requests in relation to- scope, labor, tools, materials and equipment

·       Maintain a safe and clean work environment and attend monthly safety meetings

Preferred Skills and Expertise

·       Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Technology or Construction Management

·       5+ years of planning experience specifically within maintenance

·       10+ years related experience or heavy oil and gas background

·       Experience with ordering materials, services, and preparing bid packages and developing contracts with vendors

·       Posses strong communication skills and attention to safety and details
