We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial and industrial construction to join our team in Franklinville, NJ.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing construction projects. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and our internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Oversee all stages of the construction project lifecycle, from pre-construction to completion.
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee quality control and provide on-site leadership.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to allocate resources effectively and manage workloads.
- Lead and facilitate project meetings with stakeholders, ensuring all parties are aligned on project goals and timelines.
- Address and resolve project challenges and issues in a timely manner to avoid delays.
- Track and manage project costs, ensuring projects stay within budget while maintaining high quality.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the commercial/industrial construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work on-site in Franklinville, NJ.
