Must have a Journeyman's License in one of these states:

Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming

Qualifications:

  • Exposed rigid conduit fabrication (Must be able to field bend/thread and install in a neat and workman-like manner)
  • Exposed ladder tray (Must be able to field cut and install in a neat and workman-like manner)
  • Exposed basket tray (Must be able to field cut and install in a neat and workman-like manner)
  • Conduit and tray support installation
  • Wire pulling (in rigid conduit - single conductor #14AWG to #4/0)
  • Wire pulling (in basket tray - multi conductor #14AWG to #4/0)
  • Motor terminations (follow Interstates Motor Termination CBA)
  • Reading electrical one-lines/panel schematics
  • Setting and torqueing 600V gear/panels
  • Terminations in MCC
  • Power terminations in SWBD/Panels
  • Quality assurance tracking/recording
  • OSHA 10 (will work on getting this with them like we did ICS)
  • Analog and discrete device terminations
  • Reading electrical control schematics
  • Terminations of PLC
  • Instrument identification/knowledge (Know the difference between various analog and discrete devices and their core functions)
  • Heat trace system knowledge (Know the components and proper installation techniques)
  • Buss Duct installation knowledge
