Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Fabricator with previous fabrication welding experience to join our team. Candidates must have experience with FCAW welding and will be required to pass a weld test. This role involves handling raw materials, interpreting blueprints and drawings, processing materials, and assembling complex and structural components through fitting and welding. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and Interpret Blueprints & Drawings: Analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements and follow process procedures.
• Welding & Fabrication:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using welding processes such as FCAW (required), GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, PAW, OAW, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding.
  • Repair worn metal components by welding extra layers onto surfaces.
• Cutting & Shaping Materials:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Use brazing and soldering equipment for metal joining applications.
  • Utilize metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and other straightening or bending tools.
• Fitting & Assembly: Position and secure components accurately to meet structural integrity requirements.
• Quality Control & Inspection: Verify measurements, alignments, and weld quality per project specifications and safety standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Perform duties in a safe, ethical, and legal manner in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Attendance & Performance: Regularly report to work on time and prepared to perform all assigned tasks.
• Other Duties as Assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous fabrication welding experience is required.
• FCAW welding experience is mandatory, and candidates must pass a weld test.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Proficiency in fabrication tools, welding equipment, and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and positive attitude.
• Must be safety-conscious and able to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Welding certifications (AWS, ASME) are a plus but not required.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
