Job Description
Job Duties:
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot substation control systems (protective relays, SCADA systems, RTUs, control panels, wiring, meters, and instrumentation).
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and calibration of control equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, or replace faulty electrical components.
• Follow all safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response.
Requirements:
• Valid OSHA 10 Certification
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams
• Must have basic tools of the trade
• Pre-employment drug test and background check may be required
Compensation & Benefits:
• Pay Rate: Up to $40/hr
• Per Diem: $120/day
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Duration: Temp-to-Perm (Temp hands also welcome)
