Pipefitters needed - 35/hr + OT + Per Diem

Greenberry Industrial – Now Hiring Experienced Pipefitters

Please note: This is a temporary position to support a shut-down that offers per diem and a good number of hours. 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $35/hour

• Per Diem: $130 per day

• Schedule: Working 6/10’s up to 7/12’s

• Job Duration: April 7, 2025 – approximately May 3, 2025 (possibility of longer-term work)

• Location: Freeman, VA

Pipefitter Job Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from isometric drawings to lay out, fabricate, assemble, and install carbon and stainless-steel piping and other industrial processing systems, including high-pressure piping.

• Cut and bevel pipe using cutting torches, plasma arc, and cutting machines with precision and efficiency.

• Measure, fabricate, and fit up various piping systems, including buttweld, socket weld, and "V" groove pipes, as well as valves, hangers, and threaded piping systems.

• Install copper piping systems with accuracy and adherence to industry standards.

• Operate rigid power threading equipment effectively to ensure proper fitting and installation.

• Utilize rigging techniques to properly position and secure piping components.

• Perform pipe welding as needed (welding experience is a plus but not required).

• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and industry best practices.

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company and industry safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of journey-level pipefitting experience.

• Proficiency in using cutting torches, plasma arc, cutting machines, and rigid power threading equipment.

• Strong understanding and application of local plumbing codes.

• Prior experience with rigging is preferred but not required.

• Valid Driver’s License required.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team-oriented environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
