Job Description
Location: Midwest United States
Pay: Up to $38.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
Per Diem: $120/per day
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on pipe to precise specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Fit, tack, and weld pipe assemblies in various positions (including horizontal and vertical)
- Inspect and ensure welds meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience MIG welding on pipe in a fabrication environment
- Ability to pass a MIG pipe weld test
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and safety practices
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various positions
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
