Mason Construction, LLC. began in 1939 when W.K. Mason originally founded the company as a drag-line excavation contractor after winning a bid for the construction of a portion of the Houston Ship Channel. More than 85 years later, what emerged from the vision of one man and his life savings of $600, is one of the most well-respected industrial civil/structural contractors in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.

Currently in its 4th generation of family ownership, Mason Construction has grown and changed substantially over time; however, we still hold tight to the core values that we were founded on all those years ago. We believe that the key to success hinges on your commitment to integrity, the combined strengths of the team you tackle challenges with, a strong safety culture, quality workmanship, and consistent dependability. We are deeply rooted in the mindset that we will give our all to deliver on our word, and that a handshake still means something today. We stand behind what we say, and will give our absolute best to back it up. That is what makes us who we are and why over 90% of our business comes from repeat customers.

Although we call Beaumont, Texas and the Golden Triangle industrial market home; Mason has performed work all over Texas, Louisiana and beyond. Because of our centralized location within the petrochemical hub of the South, Mason Construction has the capabilities and resources necessary to execute a variety of projects across the Gulf Coast region. We provide construction services to the petrochemical, oil and gas, refining, liquid and bulk storage, power, alternative energy, communications, manufacturing, commercial and industrial buildings, port and rail, and public works markets.

Today, Mason operates as a multi-faceted industrial construction company that offers services including civil site work, piling, specialty shoring, concrete foundations, asphalt paving, structural steel erection, hydro-excavation and environmental services. Additionally, we provide construction services and front-end constructibility assistance for a variety of Major Capital Projects and Hurricane Flood Protection Projects for clients along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast.

On August 3, 2015, Mason was recognized by the Zero Injury Institute (ZII) as the 34th Construction Company in North America to achieve the milestone of over One Million Safe Man Hours without a recordable or lost time injury.  To date, Mason Construction has been recognized on 7 occasions in the ZII Hall of Honor for Million Safe Man Hour Milestones, one of which was for our work with Valero; and recently twice more for 2 Million Safe Manhour Milestone achievements.
