Position: Journeyman Industrial Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Industrial Electrician for upstream oil & gas and CO? capture/reclamation projects in Nebraska. This role requires a well-rounded industrial electrician with proven experience in both electrical systems and instrument installation.
You’ll be responsible for performing safe, code-compliant installations in dynamic and often high-demand environments. Ideal candidates take pride in quality craftsmanship, efficiency, and a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and instrumentation.
Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate rigid conduit and coded PVC conduit to NEC standards
- Mount and install cable tray systems for industrial applications
- Perform PLC terminations and associated control wiring
- Install instrumentation tubing (3/8” stainless steel), including tubing tray mounting (Preferred, not necessary)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean, compliant jobsite
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet deadlines and specifications
Requirements:
- Active Nebraska Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
- OSHA 10 Certification (Required)
- Experience with instrument installation, conduit running (PVC & Rigid), and cable tray systems
- Ability to install and terminate controls and PLC wiring accurately
- Must supply own fire-resistant clothing (FRC) and basic hand/power tools
- Must be able to work in environments typical of oil & gas and CO? facilities
- Must pass 10-panel drug test and background check
- Strong knowledge of NEC and industrial safety protocols
- Prior experience in oil & gas or CO2? capture/reclamation projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- NCCER Certification in Industrial Electrical or Instrumentation
- Familiarity with hazardous location requirements and classifications
