***ONLY LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WITH WIND EXPERIENCE***
You’ll be an embedded partner to operations—planning, coaching, and problem-solving so crews can execute safely and keep the schedule. We want a relationship-builder with wind experience who leads with solutions, not citations.
What you’ll do
Champion a “safe production” mindset: collaborate with supervision and craft to plan and execute daily work.
Own SSSP, JHAs/JSAs, orientations, and toolbox talks; keep them short, relevant, and actionable.
Oversee controls for high-risk wind tasks: working at heights and rescue readiness, crane & rigging/lift plans, electrical/mechanical LOTO, and weather calls.
Set up and maintain exclusion zones, road and pad controls, and traffic plans during disassembly and hauling.
Track leading indicators, close actions quickly, and share clear, concise status with site leadership.
Coordinate incident response, reporting, and root-cause analysis; drive practical corrective actions.
Support environmental basics (spill kits, blade/material handling waste streams) and required permits.
Build trust with clients and subcontractors through steady communication and fair, consistent expectations.
What you’ll bring
3+ years of construction/industrial safety experience with some wind experience (decom/repower/O&M).
Excellent communication and coaching skills; respected in the field and able to influence outcomes.
Demonstrated knowledge of fall protection/rescue, LOTO, and crane/rigging fundamentals.
OSHA 30 (Construction) required; First Aid/CPR/AED required. GWO BST/Working at Heights preferred.
Comfortable with basic reporting tools (Microsoft 365 or similar) and simple data tracking.
Valid driver’s license; ability to work outdoors and climb as needed
