Trillium Construction is seeking Certified Riggers in Kings Port, TN.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely rig, lift, and move heavy industrial equipment during plant shutdown activities
• Install, remove, and relocate equipment and materials using cranes, hoists, and rigging systems
• Work closely with crane operators to guide loads using hand signals and two-way radio communication
• Assist with receiving and “catching” equipment being flown in by crane and positioning it accurately
• Interpret and execute engineered lift plans and critical lift procedures
• Inspect rigging gear prior to use and ensure equipment meets safety standards
• Select proper rigging methods based on load weight, center of gravity, and lift configuration
• Maintain safe work practices in accordance with plant, OSHA, and site safety requirements
• Participate in daily safety meetings, job safety analyses (JSA), and toolbox talks
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors, crane operators, and craft workers
Typical Equipment Handled During Shutdowns
Riggers may be required to move, set, or remove equipment including but not limited to:
• Pumps and pump skids
• Heat exchangers
• Valves and valve assemblies
• Compressors and motors
• Pipe spools and piping systems
• Structural steel and iron
• Vessels and process tanks
• Columns and towers
• Industrial platforms and catwalks
• Heavy machinery components and modular equipment
Pay: $32
Per Diem: $120 / day for all 7 days
Schedule: Mon- Sun, 80h+ / week for 6 weeks straight
Qualifications
NCCER/NCCCO Rigging Certification
Pre-employment screenings
OSHA 10 Certification
