Trillium Construction is seeking Millwright Helpers for a project in Northampton, PA who will support carbon arc cutting in large air preheater vessels inside power boiler systems. This is a material handling role around hot work, not a welding role.
Will be additional projects to follow. Key Responsibilities • Stand behind the carbon arc gouger as the “catcher” or work the pass-off line • Hand tubes down a human line into an 8 inch PVC drop chute with a safety catch door • Move and stack tubes at ground level for bundling • General labor in a confined space environment with dust and fly ash during cutout • Typical tube weight 15 to 30 pounds. No free drops. Handed off person to person. • Millwright Helpers will perform Tube catching, passing, stacking, bundling, staging, housekeeping. Assist welders and millwrights as directed. Pay: $28 - Overtime after 8h a day, overtime on Saturdays, double time on Sundays. - Travel Pay: Full paid day on inbound travel if within 8h. On exit, 8 paid hours plus travel home. - Training pay and catered meals onsite. Per Diem: $125 / day for all 7 days. Schedule: Mon - Sun, 70h+ / week (Day shift & night shift available) Qualifications • Employment screenings • Recent shutdown or outage experience as a traveling millwright helper, rigger helper, or industrial laborer • Comfortable with confined space entry. No tube crawling. 18 to 24 inch manway entries • Respirator ready. Willing to shave if needed for fit. Pass on-site fit test • Can lift and carry 30 pounds repeatedly and work 10 hour shifts for consecutive days • Strong attitude and reliability.
