Excavator/Backhoe Operator Needed!!! - $57.30/HR + $400/PERDIEM A WEEK - Fargo, ND

Trillium Construction is seeking an Excavator/Backhoe Operator near Fargo, ND to load off-road haul trucks. This job requires the operation of one or more types of heavy power equipment such as bobcat, dozer, front-end loader, motor grader, scraper, skid steer and other pieces of equipment used in road, parking lot, city streets or highway construction. Responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing. Takes instruction from Foreman and assists with groundwork if required.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.
- Follow company and OSHA/MSHA safety procedures. Bring concerns to the attention of the Foreman, Superintendent or
Safety Director.
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to
supervisor; clean equipment.
- Follow daily procedures and protocols set forth in job orientation and training.
- Relate to co-workers and the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Required to help out when and where necessary including operation of other equipment and other manual labor

Pay: $57.30
Per Diem: $400 / week
Schedule: Mon - Sun, 60h+ / week

Qualifications
- 3+ years of heavy equipment operator experience
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and to perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Ability to drive and operate the equipment under varying work conditions and the ability to do some manual labor requiring
periods of extensive physical exertion and potential exposure to adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to learn, understand and carry out written and oral instructions and abide by Company policies and safety rules.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment and willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods of time and work long hours to perform the job duties.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
- OSHA 10 certification
- Pre-employment screenings
