Trillium Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager on behalf of our client.
This role is ideal for candidates with data center or heavy commercial construction experience, preferably working directly for an owner or General Contractor.
The Senior Project Manager will lead complex industrial construction projects from preconstruction through final delivery. This individual will oversee planning, coordination, financial performance, safety, and client satisfaction across large-scale, high-risk projects. The ideal candidate understands fast-paced, field-driven environments and can successfully manage evolving site conditions, tight schedules, and critical safety standards.
Annual salary is $150-160k/year plus per diem of $4,350 a month ($145 per day).
Key Responsibilities
-Lead full lifecycle execution of industrial construction, heavy lift, rigging, and transportation projects
-Collaborate with preconstruction and engineering teams on lift planning, constructability reviews, and client proposals
-Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
-Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, crane operators, transport vendors, and engineering partners to ensure safe and efficient project execution
-Ensure project scope, sequencing, and logistics are clearly defined prior to mobilization
-Monitor project progress and adjust plans to address field conditions, site access limitations, and schedule impacts
-Identify and mitigate risks related to safety, logistics, and site coordination
-Maintain strong client communication regarding progress, challenges, and solutions
-Enforce compliance with all safety standards, lift plans, and regulatory requirements
-Lead project meetings, including pre-lift planning, coordination meetings, and post-project reviews
-Manage and mentor Project Engineers, Coordinators, Superintendents, Safety personnel, and field crews
-Drive accountability among internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors
-Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting lessons learned and refining execution processes

Qualifications
-5+ years of project management experience in heavy lift, rigging, transportation, industrial construction, data centers, or heavy commercial construction
-Experience working for an owner or General Contractor preferred
-Proven success managing complex, multi-phase projects with significant logistical challenges
-Strong understanding of field operations, crane work, rigging practices, and site coordination
-Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and schedule commitments
-Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to direct teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
-Strong financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments
-Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms
-PMP certification is a plus; however, hands-on field experience is highly valued
