Install, Maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Work under the direction of a Lead Craftsman or Foreman.
JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Maintain current electrician's license to meet governmental regulations.
- Work well with supervision.
- Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
- Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Must hold current Washington State (EL01) General Journey Level electrical license.
- Minimum of two (2) years of electrical, industrial or refinery maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of industry hand and power tools.
- Complete the Matrix Service Safety training and Client/Site specific training.
- Must obtain and maintain active status within the drug testing program.
- MSHA certification is required or must be obtained prior to starting work.
