DataONE Construction is Hiring: Tool Room Attendants Vineland, NJ – Data Center Project

We are currently hiring Tool Room Attendants to support our Logistics team on the Vineland data center project. In this critical role, you will manage the tool room by issuing tools to employees, maintaining accurate tracking records, and ensuring the site has the right tools available to keep operations running smoothly. During downtime or when manpower needs arise, you will assist as Material Handlers or Flaggers/Spotters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue tools and equipment to crew members during jobsite working hours
• Track all tools signed in and out, including employee name, foreman, and return status
• Maintain inventory records — what tools are in stock, damaged, or need replacement
• Report damaged or missing tools to supervisors
• Mark and label tools with DataONE company name and tracking ID numbers
• Assist with material handling (unloading trucks, running materials to work areas, organizing/staging) or flagging/spotting (directing traffic and ensuring safety during deliveries) as needed

Schedule: Minimum 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week (with overtime opportunities)

Requirements:

• Valid OSHA 10 certification (Construction)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Ability to use a computer and a iPad
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, ProCore, and Monday.com
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (when assisting in other roles)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Ability to operate a Telehandler (Lull) preferred but not required
• Previous tool room, inventory, warehouse, or construction experience a plus

Compensation & Benefits Package:

• Hourly Pay: $20 – $25 per hour (based on experience and skills)
  • Performance-based raises and opportunities for advancement
  • Annual Manager-to-Employee performance reviews
• Overtime: Time-and-a-half after 40 hours
• Saturday: Automatic Time-and-a-half
• Sunday: Automatic Double Time
• Holidays: Double Time pay (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)
• Per Diem: $150 per day (for candidates living 90+ miles from the jobsite)
• Benefits: Health, Vision, and Dental insurance (eligible after probationary period)
• Paid Time Off: Vacation, Sick, Bereavement, and Floating Holidays (eligible after probationary period)
• Drive Time Pay between jobsites
