Construction Safety Professional $50- $135 per diem- Desoto, KS

Trillium Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Professional (OSHA 500/510) to support a 24-week assignment on a commercial construction project.

This individual will serve as the onsite safety representative for a 24-person field crew, ensuring OSHA compliance, maintaining a strong safety presence, and supporting daily field operations throughout the duration of the project. The role requires proactive hazard recognition, strong communication skills, and the ability to work closely with site leadership to maintain a safe and productive jobsite.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial construction environments and be comfortable working independently as the primary safety resource onsite.

Responsibilities
-Serve as onsite safety representative for field operations
-Conduct daily site safety walks and inspections
-Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
-Enforce OSHA and project-specific safety requirements
-Identify and correct unsafe conditions in real time
-Maintain safety documentation, reports, and incident tracking
-Coordinate with project leadership and the Head of Safety

Requirements
-OSHA 500 certification required
-First Aid/CPR certification required
-Strong background in commercial construction safety
-Ability to work independently onsite with a 24-person crew
-Excellent communication and documentation skills
-Must pass pre-employment drug screening prior to start
-Must complete site-specific orientation before jobsite access is granted
-Must attend onboarding meeting with Project Head of Safety
