Crawler Crane Operator 

Location: Savannah, GA

Pay: $35-$43/hr + $120 per diem for days worked

Hours: 40+ a week with overtime available 

Project Duration: 1.5-2 months

Certifications: NCCCO

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Operating a Linkbelt 218 crawler, 120 ft boom
• setting piles for a driver and drilling starting holes 
• Performing daily pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure the crane is operating safely and efficiently.
• Reading and interpreting lift plans, blueprints, and site layouts to accurately position materials and equipment.
• Communicating with signal persons, riggers, and ground crews to coordinate safe and efficient lifting operations.
• Monitoring load capacities, boom configurations, and site conditions to ensure all lifts are performed within manufacturer and OSHA guidelines.
• Assisting with crane setup, teardown, and relocation as project needs require.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety policies and job site regulations.
• Identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations
