Job Location: Vineland, NJ 08360

Hourly Pay: $20 – $35 per hour (PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS)

Hours: 70-80 hours a week

Duration: 2+ years

Perdiem: $150 per day, 7 days a week (for candidates living 90+ miles from the jobsite)

Safety Classes Required: OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, LOTO, Fall Protection, Motorized Platform, Harassment

Hardware: iPad, ProCore

QA/QC Inspector (Mechanical)

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable QA/QC Inspector to support our mechanical projects. This person will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance in fabrication and installation work. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical assemblies, fit-ups, and measurement verification. A Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Verify measurements, squareness, fit-ups, and alignments in mechanical assemblies.
•  Accurately document inspections, including photos and detailed reports.
•  Maintain organized records of quality checks, logs, and corrective actions.
•  Identify and communicate nonconformities, recommending corrective measures.
•  Support project teams by ensuring work meets applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
•  Collaborate with supervisors, welders, and fabricators to resolve quality issues in real time.
•  Ensure compliance with safety and QA/QC procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

•  Previous experience in mechanical QA/QC inspection or related role.
•  Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies, measurement verification, and fit-up procedures.
•  Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
•  Proficiency in documenting inspections with both written reports and photographs.
•  High attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
•  CWI certification is a strong plus but not required.
•  Familiarity with Procore is a plus.
•  Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with field teams.

Compensation & Benefits Package:

• Hourly Pay: $20 – $35 per hour (PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS)

• Overtime: Time and a Half Pay after 40 hours
• Saturday: Automatic Time and a Half Pay
• Sunday: Automatic Double Time Pay
• Holidays: Double Time Pay + 8 hours of Holiday Pay (if eligible for Holiday Pay)
• Per Diem: $150 per day (for candidates living 90+ miles from the jobsite)
