Refinery turnarounds are complex, high-stakes events where every minute matters. We're seeking an experienced Turnaround Logistics Planner/Coordinator to lead the planning and coordination of site logistics that keep people, equipment, and materials moving safely and efficiently throughout outage execution.

In this role, you'll serve as the architect of turnaround logistics, ensuring temporary facilities, heavy equipment, contractors, transportation, waste management, and support services are aligned with the overall turnaround schedule. Your planning and coordination will directly impact safety, productivity, and successful execution.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain the temporary turnaround site plot plan, including:
    • Contractor trailers
    • Equipment staging areas
    • Fabrication zones
    • Temporary lunchrooms and support facilities
  • Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of heavy equipment including cranes, aerial lifts, generators, and other critical assets
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics support vendors and service providers
  • Coordinate workforce transportation, parking, site access, security, fuel services, and contractor logistics
  • Support turnaround teams with facility maintenance needs and onsite problem resolution
  • Coordinate essential turnaround services including:
    • Hydro-blasting water supply
    • Vacuum truck operations
    • Waste removal
    • Portable sanitation
  • Work closely with the Turnaround Scheduler to ensure logistics activities align with the integrated P6 schedule
  • Monitor logistics execution and proactively resolve issues that could impact schedule or safety
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors to maintain efficient site flow
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with refinery safety requirements and permitting processes

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of refinery or petrochemical experience supporting Turnarounds, Outages, or Major Maintenance Events
  • Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating turnaround logistics
  • Strong understanding of refinery site logistics, contractor coordination, and equipment movement
  • Experience coordinating heavy equipment, temporary facilities, and site services
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced turnaround environment
  • Excellent communication and vendor management skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, refinery safety procedures, and permit processes
  • Experience working alongside Primavera P6 scheduling teams preferred
