Trillium Construction is hiring experienced Journeyman Industrial Pipefitters for a major project at the Rand-Whitney paper mill.

Job Details

• Location: Montville, CT
• Start: Monday, August 31, 2026
• Duration: 2–3 months
• Pay: $40/hr
• Per Diem: $130/day all 7 days if you work the schedule 
• Schedule: 5/10s for the first 4 weeks, then 7/12s during the October shutdown
• Significant overtime available

Duties

• Prefabricate and install industrial piping
• Measure, cut, fit, and install pipe
• Read isometric drawings, blueprints, and piping plans
• Perform fabrication and installation with minimal supervision
• Assist with October tie-in to the existing production line
• Follow all safety requirements

Requirements

• 7+ years of industrial pipefitting experience
• Strong industrial/manufacturing experience
• Proficient with isometric drawings and blueprints
• Required hand tools in a lockable gang box (no tool bags)
• Required PPE
• Pass pre-employment requirements and drug screening
• Complete online safety training
• Reliable and able to work the full project schedule
