Project Superintendent

Job Description

Project Superintendent is responsible for managing, directing, planning, organizing, and carrying out the work of the Rigger performing various rigging/transportation related activities and to provide the oversight and necessary planning to efficiently manage project work plans. 

Minimum of 10 years experience (with superintendent experience preferably) in the heavy rigging, crane, construction or heavy trucking industry. 

Prefer experience with Goldhofer or similar hydraulic platform trailers. 

  • Experience or familiarity with gantry systems, unified jacking systems, strand jacks, and jack and slide systems a plus. 
  • Must be an outstanding leader who works well with customers and co-workers.  Must be willing to travel, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to multi-task, is attentive to details and possesses good organizational skills.
  • Outlines work assignment(s) for the day and assigns individual laborers to various aspects of the projects to insure efficient and effective utilization of equipment and manpower, and facilitates timely completion of the days work assignment(s). 
  • Establishes and enforces work standards and operating procedures to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner and in conformance with established standards, safety practices and procedures. 

This position will be an outdoor working environment and subject to changes in the weather. 

Candidate must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively. 

 

The Project Superintendent shall be able to receive work related assignments.  The superintendent shall be well versed in sound rigging principles and be able to examine work and materials for compliance with specifications. 

The Project Superintendent will be accountable for safe work practices, Job Hazard Analysis, and industry related safety training compliance.

PAY

$150,000/year + annually

PER DIEM

$120-$150 per Day (based on project location)

HOURS

40+ Hours a week
