Job Description

Minimum 5 years experience in welded fuel piping systems installation and maintenance; including commercial fuels, jet fuel, bulk oil, and terminal work. Must be knowledgeable of pipe systems, welding code, and procedure. Must be proficient with TIG/GTAW and SMAW welding processes. Ideal candidate will have minimum OSHA 10 hour certificate and have experience installing up to 16" diameter piping - in excavated and above ground conditions. Responsibilities / Skills include: Promote and practice good safety at all times; verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in layout; blueprint reading; pipefitting; welding in accordance to shop drawings, specifications, and industry standards; Inspect work and maintain quality standards per contract documents; installation and maintenance of fuel piping systems. Candidate must be able to: work a regular 10 hour shift outside in various temperatures; follow instructions; carry, lift or position material up to 50 lbs; bend, lay, kneel occasionally; position/reach overhead occasionally; Climb ladders, work from scaffolds or lifts to access work. Appropriate PPE required including but not limited to vests, hard hats, steel toe work boots, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection. Travel may be required. Per diem is paid when traveling outside of base area. Employment contingent on background check, driving record, and drug screening. Health Insurance and 401k programs available.
