Operator

Operate Excavators, Backhoes,and Loaders for excavation and backfill for underground piping. Skill to operate equipment in close proximity to workers and underground utilities. Knowledge and ability to properly slope / bench / place shoring for utility excavations. 5 year minimum experience operating Excavators. Ideal candidate will have minimum OSHA 10 hour certificate. Responsibilities / Skills include: Promote and practice good safety at all times; verbal and written communication skills; assist in assembly and layout of piping; maintain quality standards, assist in installation and maintenance of fuel piping systems, bolting, grinding, would a plus. Candidate must be able to: work a regular 10 hour shift outside in various temperatures; follow instructions. Appropriate PPE includes,but not limited to vests, hard hats, steel toe work boots, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection. Travel may be required. Per diem is paid when traveling outside of base area. Employment contingent on background check, driving record, and drug screening. Regular Pay will be commensurate with experience.
