Industrial Chiller / Process Water Technician

Job Description

The work

  • Set, pipe, and align water-cooled chillers (centrifugal, screw, and similar large-tonnage machines)
  • Chilled-water and condenser-water piping: fit, hang, bolt-up, hydro, flush
  • Cooling towers, basins, strainers, chemical/skid tie-ins
  • Pumps, valves, strainers, expansion tanks, heat exchangers
  • Support commissioning: first fill, startup, punch, and turnover
  • Read isometrics, P&IDs, and equipment drawings
  • Follow LOTO, PPE, and permit rules; no live-system work without authorization

Who should apply (with updated resume)

  • Industrial pipefitters
  • Large HVAC / chiller technicians
  • Millwrights with pump/chiller set experience
  • Plant, refinery, power, manufacturing, hospital, or large-campus central plant backgrounds

Pluses

  • York, Carrier, Trane, Daikin, or similar large chillers
  • Cooling-tower install or overhaul
  • Chiller startup / commissioning
  • Data center or mission-critical cooling (not required)

PAY

$40-50/hour

PER DIEM

$2307.69 per biweekly paycheck

6x12s: 24/7 site, 12-hour days, 6-days/week
