Welder – xAI Construction

Pipe welding on a large industrial build. We need pipe welders, not structural-only. High-quality stainless work is a core need. Experience on higher-pressure gas or water systems is what we are looking for.

The work

• TIG and/or combo pipe welding (stainless and carbon)
• Fit, tack, weld, and grind pipe to drawing and spec
• Higher-pressure water and/or gas systems
• Work with pipefitters on an active construction site
• Read isometrics, specs, and weld symbols; pass a site weld test
• Follow LOTO, hot-work permits, PPE, and fire watch rules

Who should apply

• Pipe welders (TIG, 6G preferred)
• High-quality stainless welders
• Combo welders whose pipe work is the strength (not structural-only)
• Plant, refinery, power, process, or large mechanical-construction backgrounds
• Experience on higher-pressure gas or water piping

Pluses

• Hydrotesting pipe
• Air testing / leak testing lines
• Sch 10 stainless and up
• AWS pipe certs (6G TIG and/or flux-core)

Do not apply if

• Structural-only welder with no pipe
• Welding I–IV / school-only with no field pipe hours
• Farm, hobby, or automotive-only welding
• Generic labor
• Design-only or estimator

Must pass a weld test. A current resume is required. Applications without a resume or with outdated resumes will not be considered.

Data center experience is not required. Industrial or large-construction welding is.
