Millwright Journeyman

We are currently hiring at our Bison Generation Power Station in Ray, North Dakota! 

Position Hiring: Millwright Journeyman

Pay Rate: $42.00 - $44.00 (based on certification) 

Per Diem (if eligible): $175.00 per day worked

Work Schedule: 5x10’s (subject to change)

Job Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. 

• Responsible for the proper disassembly and assembly of rotating equipment. 

• Able to set, grout, and align pumps and motors.

• Able to align shafts and install seals.  

• Understand tolerances (+ -) related to Millwright work and project specifications.

• Working knowledge of lubrication and oil mist systems.

• Able to check vibration on rotating equipment.

• Able to use laser alignment equipment.

• Able to read P&IDs.

• Able to conduct a basic layout for equipment installation

• Safe use of Hand & Power Tools 

• Work safely at all times and promote safety to others around you. 

• Strong working knowledge of and experience working with rotating equipment. 

• Perform quality work as determined by the project specifications. 

• Accountable for all tools and materials at the beginning and end of each shift. 

• Assist immediate supervisor with aligning future tasks to be completed. 

• Coordinate work with other crafts and co-workers on the job. 

• Assist in assuring all required PCL and client Safety and QA/QC forms are properly filled out with all necessary signatures. 

• Must work well as part of a team. 

• Keep a clean work area

• Must have centerline experience, steam turbine, combustion turbine and generator installation.

• Experience in the industrial Millwright industry (petrochemical, power plant, cement plant) or related field with four or more years of experience in the mechanical trades.

Site Access Requirements:

• DISA-Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
• Must have minimal of 48+ verifiable work experience within craft
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30 OR Safety Essentials
