Industrial Plumber / Underground Utility Installer

We are hiring experienced Industrial Plumbers and Underground Utility Installers for a large-scale data center construction project. This position is focused on underground industrial piping—not residential plumbing or primarily above-ground pipefitting.

Pay and Schedule

• $125 daily per diem

• Day and night shifts available

• 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

• Approximately 60–72 hours per week

• 13-week contract-to-hire position

• 100% onsite in Brownsville, Texas

What You’ll Do

• Install underground industrial and utility piping systems

• Lay pipe in trenches according to required grade and elevation

• Measure and lay out underground piping runs

• Read piping, civil, and utility drawings

• Prepare bedding and support for piping

• Complete pipe connections using the appropriate joining methods

• Assist with system testing, backfilling, and related utility work

• Support mechanical and utility construction for a major industrial facility

Requirements

• Industrial plumbing, underground utility, or pipe-laying experience

• Hands-on experience installing underground piping

• Understanding of slope, grade, and elevation

• Ability to use grade lasers or similar layout and elevation tools

• Experience reading piping or civil drawings

• Industrial, civil, or heavy-construction background

• Ability to work 60–72 hours per week

• Residential-only plumbing experience is not sufficient

• Water and wastewater systems

• Process or industrial utilities

• Refineries or petrochemical plants

• Heavy civil construction
