Electrician Apprentice Level 2–3

Location: Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX
Job Duration: Approximately 2 weeks 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $26.85–$32.00 per hour
Overtime: None
Per Diem: $150

We are seeking an Electrician Apprentice (Level 2–3 Minimum) for a short-term electrical construction assignment at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and route electrical wire and cable.

  • Assist journeyman electricians with electrical installations.

  • Handle, move, and organize electrical materials and equipment.

  • Assist with jobsite preparation, cleanup, and general electrical construction tasks.

  • Follow directions from journeyman electricians and supervisors.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

  • Perform other electrical support duties as needed.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

  • Apprentice Electrician, Level 2–3 experience.

  • Current Texas TDLR Electrical Apprentice License/Registration required.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical installation and construction practices.

  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be comfortable performing physical work throughout the entire shift.

  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.

  • Must meet all applicable base-access and security requirements.

Base Access & Screening

Because this position is located on a military installation, candidates will be required to complete a background check at the base on the start date and obtain badge access before beginning work.

Candidates must meet the applicable eligibility requirements for access to the installation, including U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency and the required criminal-history screening.

Must not have any felonies or misdemeanors

What Will Be Provided

  • $26.85–$32.00/hour

  • Monday–Friday schedule

  • 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

  • Short-term assignment lasting approximately 1–2 weeks maximum

  • Hard hat and safety vest provided
