Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
5+ years of pipe welding and fitting experience preferred

Experience performing pressure-retaining code welds on process piping, utility piping, and pressure vessels

Ability to independently fit and weld piping spools

Proficient in reading fabrication isometric drawings and blueprints

Strong knowledge of welding procedures (WPS) and code requirements
REQUIRED WELD TEST:
2-inch super coupon in the 6G position
Short-arc MIG root and hot passes
Flux-core fill and cap
Must pass X-ray and bend testing
No stick welding or rolled-out welds
Must demonstrate efficient, quality workmanship
