Instrument Fitter – Industrial Construction

Location: Brownsville, TX
Pay: $38/hr | OT: $57/hr
Per Diem: $125/day
Schedule: 60–72 hours/week | Day and night shifts
Employment Type: 13-Week Contract-to-Hire (must be willing to permanently relocate to South Texas)

We are hiring experienced Instrument Fitters for a large-scale data center construction project in Brownsville, TX. Candidates must have hands-on experience measuring, bending, routing, and installing instrumentation tubing in industrial construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, and install instrument tubing.

• Install stainless steel tubing and compression fittings.

• Route, secure, and support tubing throughout the facility.

• Read and follow P&IDs and instrumentation drawings.

• Connect tubing to instruments and process equipment.

• Perform tubing inspections and support leak testing.

Requirements

• Hands-on instrument tubing installation experience required.

• Experience bending, routing, and installing tubing independently.

• Knowledge of compression fittings, such as Swagelok.

• Ability to measure, cut, and prepare tubing accurately.

• Ability to read P&IDs or instrumentation drawings.

• Industrial construction experience.

• Availability to work 60–72 hours per week.
