Now hiring a Lead Sheet Metal Mechanic for long term work in Hays Kansas!
The Lead Sheet Metal Mechanic is leading a crew of journeyman sheet metal mechanics in the installation of all aspects of HVAC systems, including ductwork, setting hangers, rooftop units, and more often working from ladders. Numerous large scale commercial projects with 6 months plus of work—must have great interpersonal skills in dealing with GC’s and other leadmen.

Pay rate is up to $39 per hour plus $100 per diem days worked. Schedule is working, Monday thru Thursday 4/12 hour days- 48 hours per week

Requirements:
-Must have 7 plus years as a journeyman sheet metal mechanic
-Must have at least 3 years’ experience as a leadman
-Able to read, interpret and work off blueprints 
-Must have all hand tools of the trade as well as a cordless drill
-Must wear all PPE and have dependable transportation.
-Must pass pre-employment screenings
