NJ Licensed Journeymen Electricians! With Per Diem! - Newark, NJ

NJ Licensed Journeymen Electricians needed for an industrial project near Newark, New Jersey area. Who have strong hands-on experience in power systems and commissioning work. This role involves installing SPCS, landing 4/0 AWG grounding, and terminating 2/0 AWG by six power feeders at QF1, as well as landing a 480-volt auxiliary feeder. Electricians will be responsible for performing system power-up sequences, including starting a 300 kVA generator, closing breakers QF1, QF3, QF5, and QF6, energizing the UPS, and then closing QF7, QF8, and QF9. Candidates must also verify cell voltage using a laptop on the SW2 switch, identify and flag containers reading below 3.2448 nV, and recharge low state-of-charge containers using a 300 kVA, 480-volt three-phase generator until the SOC increases by 25 percent, which typically takes about four hours per container. You must have basic tools of the trade. You may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and pass background check upon arrival.
 
Paying up to $42/hr
Per Diem: $95/ a day for days worked
