Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Turbine Technicians for projects at multiple locations.
We are seeking skilled and experienced Turbine Technicians to support turbine maintenance, inspection, repair, and overhaul projects at power generation and industrial facilities.
Compensation
• Pay: Up to $36/hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Per Diem: $175/day for eligible travelers
• Employment Opportunity: Potential to become a contracted seasonal technician for qualified candidates who demonstrate strong performance, safety, and reliability
Job Duties
• Inspecting turbine components for wear, damage, vibration, leaks, or abnormal operating conditions.
• Performing turbine disassembly and reassembly during maintenance outages.
• Aligning shafts, bearings, couplings, and other rotating equipment.
• Taking precise measurements and recording clearances, tolerances, and component conditions.
• Installing and servicing bearings, seals, valves, rotors, diaphragms, and other turbine components.
• Troubleshooting mechanical problems and assisting with root-cause investigations.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance according to Mitsubishi procedures and plant requirements.
• Using precision tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, laser alignment equipment, torque tools, and measurement instruments.
• Assisting with turbine startup, shutdown, testing, and commissioning.
• Reading mechanical drawings, turbine manuals, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Working with electricians, engineers, welders, millwrights, operators, and other maintenance personnel.
• Following strict OSHA, plant safety, lockout/tagout, confined-space, rigging, and lifting procedures.
• Traveling to power plants or industrial facilities for scheduled outages and emergency service work.
