Refractory Bricklayer - BRS Shutdown - Osceola, AR

Location: BRS Shutdown – Osceola, AR

Pay: $32/Hour     $150/Day Per Diem

Hours: 5 Day Duration       Day/Night Shifts

The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next Refractory Bricklayer. We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. Refractory Bricklayer: A specialized tradesperson who builds and repairs high-temp structures like furnaces, kilns, and boilers using heat resistant materials.

Bricklayer Responsibilities:

• Laying & bonding specialized bricks, such as firebricks or silica bricks, using heat-resistant mortar
• Cutting and shaping refractory bricks, tiles, and ceramic fibers with precision tools
• Applying unshaped materials , castables and gunite to create seamless linings
• Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise alignment and expansion joints for complex industrial vessels
• Evaluating existing linings in industrial equipment to ID wear and perform critical maintenance

Experience and Requirements

• Previous Refractory Bricklaying experience required
• Excellent Safety Record. Safety is our # 1 priority
• Proficiency in masonry, welding, and understanding specialized materials like ceramic fiber and castable refractories
• OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
• Knowledge of Structural fitting and Fabrication
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to pass Pulmonary & Fit test
