Job Description
Job Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Pipefitters for LNG plant work. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial construction experience, specifically oil & gas, petrochemical, and LNG, and have proven experience with the key responsibilities below.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, ISO s, filed installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications
- Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, stainless steel weld pipe
- Miter and fabricate all pipe
Installs valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers and supports
- Steam and heat tracing
- Use beveling machine
- Basic plumbing repair
- Minor valve maintenance and repair
- Test piping systems
- Oxygen and acetylene cutting
- Basic rigging
- Operation of pneumatic and electric tools
- Leak test tubing systems
- Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of industrial construction/maintenance welding experience.
- Must pass a drug screen, hearing test, and a respirator fit test
- NCCER Certified preferred but not required
Work Environment
Candidates must be comfortable working in physically demanding conditions, including:
- Confined spaces
- Elevated work areas
- Outdoor environments
- Varying weather conditions
- Heavy industrial sites
