About the Role:

Fritz Staffing Group is seeking two experienced Electrical Foremen for ongoing and upcoming industrial and heavy commercial projects based in the South Jersey area. These are direct-hire positions for long-term work.

We’re looking for hands-on leaders who can manage crews, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality installations on complex industrial projects. Candidates must be local to Franklinville, NJ, but should be open to occasional travel for multi-week assignments when required.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead electrical crews on industrial and heavy commercial projects
• Plan, layout, and oversee installation of Rigid, EMT, PVC, and RobRoy (OCAL) conduit
• Manage installation of cable trays, basket trays, and conveyor systems
• Direct complex conduit layouts and oversee wire pulls
• Perform and supervise power and control terminations
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems, PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, and low-voltage controls
• Install and maintain electrical panels, transformers, and motor control systems
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and site-specific requirements
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet project deadlines

Required Technical Skills

• Valid New Jersey Journeyman Electrician License preferred
• Extensive experience in industrial and heavy commercial electrical environments
• Proficient with power and control terminations
• Expertise in conduit bending (various benders) and precision installations
• Strong troubleshooting skills for power distribution and control systems
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and MCCs
• Familiarity with instrumentation, automation, and energy management systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics

Safety & Compliance

• OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred)
• Knowledge of LOTO procedures and arc flash hazard mitigation
• Strict adherence to electrical safety protocols and PPE standards

Soft Skills & Requirements

• Proven ability to lead and mentor crews effectively
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in various positions
• Local applicants only — must live within commuting distance of South Jersey
• Must be willing to travel occasionally for multi-week assignments as needed
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours
